Our Windermere Realty Trust team had the privilege of visiting Rose Haven, a vital sanctuary providing safety, support, and stability for women, children, and gender-expansive people experiencing trauma and homelessness.

💙 Thanks to the generosity of the Windermere Foundation, we were honored to deliver a $15,000 donation—funds that will completely close Rose Haven’s food budget gap through the end of the year. That means hundreds of guests will continue to receive warm, nourishing meals without interruption.

This is the power of community in action. A portion of every Windermere Real Estate home sale and purchase supports the Foundation, ensuring that each transaction contributes directly to helping our Portland neighbors in need.

Today is Anthony Bourdain’s birthday. This kind, thoughtful, sardonic, complicated man taught us a whole new way of looking at restaurants, chefs and food in general. A fresh voice when he published Kitchen Confidential, he remains a great writer to explore if you love food, travel or humanity. There is so much he teaches us on every re-read. We miss him and are glad to have this day to celebrate him.

You're invited to a happy hour and FUNdraiser Thursday, February 23rd from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at Corkscrew Wine Bar in the Sellwood neighborhood benefiting Rose Haven Women’s Shelter.

This event grew out of one of our 2023 goals to foster more community. We wanted to create a space for new friends to meet while supporting local businesses and an incredible local charity. Making new connections creates new ideas which support and enrich our lives for the better.

Feel free to bring a friend or share this with friends so we can reach our donation goal of $500. If you can’t make the event don’t worry you can still be entered to win one of three amazing prizes! You must submit proof of donation to Rose Haven Women’s Shelter. The drawing for the prizes will be held at the event.
