Did you know there was an International Cat Day in August? Yeah, us neither! But now we do and we are here to share and celebrate some of our favorite feline friends.

Meet Oliver, aka Oliver Boliver. He was found in the woods near Multnomah Village when he was about 10 months old and has been the office mate and constant Zoom companion to one of our teammates ever since! This summer he turned 15 years old, and in the words of his human, “we can’t imagine our lives without him!”

Little Bunny aka Bunnerz enjoying a nap while we do online admin work ;) Bunny’s human is a friend to one of Big Rocks’ team members - whether part of our own family, our pals’, or yours, we love celebrating our feline companions.

What happens when you combine Swedish death cleaning with zero-waste practices? Well, I’m going to tell you because I just went through it. For anyone who isn’t familiar with the concept, Swedish death cleaning is the act of clearing out excess belongings before passing away so your family isn’t stuck with it after you go. And zero waste means creating as little waste as possible.

We had a wonderful time celebrating the first anniversary of PDX Q***R PROFESSIONALS NETWORK! One of the highlights of the evening was meeting Kharisma with the K💖 and Kimberly Michelle Westwood. What a fun celebration of community! As a local LGBTQIA+-owned and all women and non-binary staffed business, we’re grateful to be part of an organization that connects and uplifts LGBTQIA+ professionals, entrepreneurs, and businesses throughout our region. Congratulations on an incredible first year, here’s to many more!
