In a press release to the media today, Maine home sales decreased comparing May 2026 to May 2025. The median sales price (MSP) was $425,000, unchanged from the MSP of a year ago. NAR reports that the number of existing home sales and the median sold price were up nationally. In the northeast sales were down and the median prices were up comparing May 2026 to May 2025.
