We need more true stories like this in the world!

"I had this gentleman and his sister come by today to pick his puppy out. I noticed his hat right away. After he picked his pup, I asked him, directly, if he was over 'there.' After listening to him tell me about his experience with an IED and the stroke it caused him at 25 years old, he told me he'd be by in a few weeks to pick the pup up and bring the rest of the money. My response? 'You don't owe me anything!' I do believe he's paid enough already. Much respect to him and all who have served or are currently serving, from all of us at SOS Kennels. There's not enough thanks!"

7-month-old Charlotte has beaten the odds to reunite with her twin and return home with her family after a six-month stay at a San Diego hospital.

Charlotte and her twin Olivia, were born to Karla and Joshua Valliere last December. In Jan, Charlotte was suddenly admitted to Rady Children's Hospital with breathing difficulties and a respiratory infection. She would soon be diagnosed with Tracheal Stenosis and Complete Tracheal Rings. This meant she had a birth defect with her airway where the rings in her trachea were abnormal and she had an abnormal narrowing of the trachea, or windpipe. She also had a blood vessel wrapped around her trachea. The surgery was risky but successful and everyone is celebrating mighty Charlotte. 👏 Good News Indeed.
