Our first woodshop activity at Pioneer Village Independent and Assisted Living was a great success! Life Enrichment Assistant, Josh, and resident, Wayne, teamed up to build a beautiful floating island, putting creativity, craftsmanship, and a little teamwork to work.

There’s something pretty satisfying about starting with an idea and ending with something you can actually see and enjoy. We’re looking forward to seeing what they come up with next!

What would you build if you had a woodshop at your fingertips?

You really can’t go wrong with a classic chocolate chip cookie!

Arbors Memory Care residents gathered today with friends to bake one of everyone’s favorite treats. There was plenty of mixing, baking, chatting, and of course, enjoying the finished product.

Warm cookies and good company make for a pretty sweet afternoon. What’s your favorite kind of cookie?

What would you paint if you joined us for an afternoon of painting?

You can help make a difference by joining our team or making a donation. Every act of support matters, and we’re grateful to everyone who chooses to stand with us in the fight against Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

Manicure time is always a favorite at Emerald Gardens Assisted and Memory Care. A little time to choose a polish, catch up with friends, and enjoy some self care makes for a pretty great afternoon.

Sometimes it’s the simple things that make the day special. What’s your favorite way to unwind?

Battleball brought out plenty of smiles at Pioneer Village Independent and Assisted Living! Our residents grabbed their pool noodle bats and got right into the action, working together to keep those balloon balls flying.

It was a little competitive, a lot of fun, and definitely more of a workout than anyone expected. Who knew pool noodles could get your heart pumping?

Would you join in on a game of Battleball? Let us know!
