Feeling lucky because I actually remembered to do today! 🍀

Today’s mention goes to my latest favorite for a breakfast burrito , I dare you to find one better. First of all, their service is top notch. Whether you’re in a rush or there to enjoy the ambiance they always greet you with a smile and happily answer any questions about the menu. Naturally I have my personal favorite listed, but there’s not one item on the menu I haven’t tried that’s not fantastic.

Once you’ve got your fill of corned beef and Guinness, go do yourself a favor and get one of these immediately. Could serve you well on National Hangover Day!

Wrapping up the week getting this amazing family into their new home!

Getting connected to this crew almost felt like fate: two of us shared the same birthday, their daughter’s name was my sister’s name, and beyond any other coincidence we discovered along the way - we worked together to be an incredible team on their home buying journey. We were able to get their dream home at the price they wanted with everything they negotiated for covered so they can move in with peace of mind, and now they can start moving in and start all their memories together as a family in a home that’s truly their own.

Congrats Kyle, Mal and little Stella! So proud of you!

Fat Tuesday has a whole new meaning for this !

After learning that had new ownership, I’d been dying to see if they lived up to the standard I’ve grown up loving for decades. We came in craving burgers, which tends to happen a lot to the people around me, and if the pictures didn’t give it away - we certainly were not disappointed. The new owner, Matt, and his brother, Mike, were both present and took phenomenal care of us from start to finish. The burgers? Excellent from top to bottom. Perfectly cooked patties, fresh produce, grilled bun (and onions!) for an all around classic diner burger that always hits the spot.

I’m so grateful to see one of my favorite spots still holding strong, and am proud to share this to keep their support going strong!

Sometimes, life gives you a sign. It just so happens that this sign says Tacos. This we are joining forces with to bring you .

I have been passing this place on SW Barbur Blvd for years, and somehow have never stopped by on a whim once the massive TACOS sign caught my eye. I got 3 tacos, one of each meat, for $9 total - which is insane considering I can’t find lunch anywhere for less than $20. All of the tacos were good but the pork (far right) was unbelievable, the first bite of that one alone had me wishing that’s how I got all 3.

The woman working the cart was so sweet and accommodating and my food was ready right away! I will definitely be coming back. Beyond the TACOS sign they are called Mamá Chio and I encourage you to stop by the next time you get a hankering for some quick, savory grub.

It’s a new year, and my New Year’s resolution is to do more content!

This week, I’m happy to showcase Wow Cow, a food cart in downtown Tigard with some incredible grub. The owner, Jay, describes his cuisine as Korean American comfort food, and it surpassed all high expectations. Everything was fantastic, with my personal favorite being the Kalbee burger - as someone who’s obsessed with them, this is one that I recommend any burger lover should try. Cream cheese on a Philly? Don’t knock it til you’ve tried it. Even the fries were superb, they had the perfect blend of truffle flavor without being overtly salty.

I’d go back here in a heartbeat, but let me know if there’s any other spots who you think deserve some recognition! No gatekeeping here.
