Keeping Your Cool This Summer
Here are 5 great tips to stay cool this Summer!

Hydrate the right way! Skip the caffeine and alcohol on the hottest days, as these liquids can raise your body temperature. Drink plenty of water and try adding in mint, cucumber or lemon for flavor.

If you’re keeping windows open to allow in fresh air, follow the sun to keep things cool. In the morning close all windows and blinds on the east and south side of your home and reverse this tactic in the afternoon as the sun moves.

Readjust your schedule and try to keep out of the sun during the mid-day hours to avoid heat exhaustion or stroke.

Run your wrists under cold water or put a cool towel on your neck. Cooling these areas will recirculate into the central parts of your body.

Wear loose-fitting, light-colored clothing with breathable cotton fabric.
