Why so serious?
I promise Iām not. But I have some serious stuff to say. Serious business!
I didnāt do a big āyear endā post at the end 2022 until now because I didnāt know how to talk about it - but then I saw some stats and numbers and I turned my attention towards GRATITUDE FOR YOU!!! My friends, my clients, my audience.
Turns out, while I was NOT paying for leads in 2022 (Zillow, Facebook marketing, etc) I was having the best year of my (4 year) career so far in real estate.
Late late in 2021, I stopped paying for the phone to ring (buying leads on Zillow and Facebook ads), and I started to focus on connecting with my current circle of friends, followers, my past clients -many of whom had become friends- as well as organic followers on Instagram and TikTok to feed my business. What a great decision!!
Here are a few of the big things that happened for me last year:
1. I was #4 in the state of Oregon and #110 in the USA in sales volume of an individual agent (NOT A TEAM) within EXP Realty, the largest real estate brokerage in the US by agent count with over 20,000 agents in the US and over 85,000 worldwide. I still donāt believe these numbers are true and I have emails out asking how itās possible. Time will tell.
2. I sold the 3rd highest value residential home sale on the east side of Portland, ever, at $3.7Million - and Iām still pinching myself over that epic property.
3. I filmed an episode of House Hunters on HGTV that will air TONIGHT 2/8. It was so fun and I may have an opportunity to do so again (ask me)
4. I flipped 3 homes and REALLY got into a good rhythm for that business, and look forward to more renovation and development.
5. I had soooo many people reach out telling me they love what I do on social media. I donāt know what it is I do that gets people excited but Iād like to do more of it. Iāll take the attention! Hahaha.
I really appreciate you all and THANK YOU for such a great year. I owe it to YOU! Just remember to think of me when real estate is the topic. Iād love to help the people in your life. š
Cheers,
-Jarrin
