Hopscotch Portland Immersive Art Experience
A Portland award-winning gallery showcasing local, national and international artists, with food and bar program and gift shop
According to PBS, Hopscotch is a “must-do bucket list item in Portland.” Admission to this award-winning art gallery gives you access to a space where local, national and international artists display their work. As you move through the galleries, you’ll experience pieces presented in sustainable and creative ways and see how artists are experimenting with new mediums. The layout and exhibitions are designed to help you connect with the artists’ ideas and to observe how the gallery encourages artists to reach new audiences.

Along with the exhibitions, your visit will be rounded out by a delicious food and bar programme and a curated, artist-driven gift shop. You’ll be able to relax over food and drinks and browse thoughtfully selected items created by the artists themselves, making the visit both visually engaging and socially welcoming.

Hang out at Tom McCall Waterfront Park, 98 SW Naito Pkwy
Since I stayed at a lovely Hilton Curio Collection hotel called The Porter, (I highly recommend), I found myself about two minutes from the Willamette River and Tom McCall Waterfront Park. It’s a place where Portlanders jog, bike, stroll, and meet up, and also provides panoramic views of the city’s bridges. The park entrance closest to The Porter was also close to the Hawthorne Bridge, one of 12 bridges in Portland. Overall, this park is a peaceful respite from the city – I visited more than once during my stay in downtown Portland.

{Here’s a very affordable walking out to hit Portland’s highlights}
