Don’t you feel like there’s just no place else like fall in Hillsboro?

You can drive the backroads and the early morning dew has the farm fields smelling like they were just cut even though it’s been a bit since they did.
You can go grab a pumpkin spice latte from Insomnia and visit with a friend in their cozy shops.
Saturday mornings are filled with trips to the Farmers Market before they close in October.
And
You pick a good book to curl up on the couch with a cozy blanket to just read.

Don’t wait until it’s too late to ask your agent if they have a plan to market your home.

And when I say a plan, I don’t mean price reduction after price reduction that makes buyers wonder WTF is wrong with your home.

I’m talking about an actual plan that will get eyes on your home through social media, a neighborhood marketing campaign and more.

Nobody can buy your home if they don’t know it exists. (be sure to look at #4 it’s my pet peeve)

This Portland home has me even rethinking that whole “maybe one day we’ll move” debate I know we all have…

I can totally see starting the morning on the deck watching the sun come up.
Curling up on the couch downstairs next to the fire with a good book and cozy blanket.
Planting and then dreaming about all the spring bulbs that will pop up in 2027.

It’s the perfect location if one person in the home works in the Beaverton/Hillsboro area and the other works in Lake Oswego/Tualatin area as the commute times are almost equal at 25-30 mins depending on the location of your work.

So if this has you thinking that “maybe one day” is starting to look and feel a lot more like “we should go see it” I’m here for you.

I would love for you to delete Zillow but.....

I get that Zillow is pretty hard to break up with and that's fine. I love scrolling it and dreaming too.

However, when it's time to actually buy a home, you're going to want the person who's telling it like it is, what the market is doing so you don't overpay, and remind you that you said you didn't want to commute more than 25 mins when you say "I've found the one" but the commute is 45.

So what do you say? Did I make you want to break up with Zillow?

Holy $hit friends how is it May already????

I suppose when you spend two weeks of April recovering from gluten exposure the month just flies by.

I’m on the mend, and here to bring you your Monthly Homeowner Checklist, where to go and get some peonies since it’s peony season, your monthly bucket list and a short recap of what happened in real estate last month.

I truly hope that you enjoy it and can make it out to Peonies at Glencoe when they open. They’re so nice, and their field is stunning.
