There are several financing changes that will have an impact on mortgage loans too. The top tier credit score for preferential treatment and the best rate is increasing from 740 to 780. A total debt to income ratio of 40%, as I’m told by reliable sources, will be enforced now in conventional loans. Surely a 20% down payment will alleviate some of these underwriting challenges. Historically, that number has moved around a little. Reach out to me please.
