So thrilled for my buyer and her next chapter in Portsmouth!
She originally came to me looking for something very specific: a historic home near Strawbery Banke in downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire- thoughtfully modernized, but with the architectural character and historic charm that make Portsmouth homes so special.
Just as important was the lifestyle. She wanted to walk out her front door and enjoy the best of Portsmouth: cafés, restaurants, boutiques, culture, the waterfront and everything that makes downtown living on the NH Seacoast so desirable.
We began our search last year, but nothing was quite right. Rather than forcing it, we took a break and waited.
She came back to me in late spring ready to begin again- and the very first home she toured was the one.
395 Pleasant Street, a beautiful historic Portsmouth home dating to 1795, was exactly what she had been waiting for.
We closed at the end of August, and I couldn’t be happier for her.
This one is such a good reminder that finding the right home isn’t always about seeing more properties. Sometimes it’s about patience, timing and being ready when the right opportunity appears.
