Did you know that New Hampshire was the first state to plant white potatoes in the United States? Scotch-Irish immigrants brought this delicious vegetable over the Atlantic in 1719 and sowed them into our soil. These tasty tubers have been an American staple ever since!

What's your favorite way to eat potatoes? We harvested these beauties from our garden, roasted them up and topped with spicy aioli. Yum!

Motivation Monday⛰️🎒

Happy Monday to all. Thought I would kick off the week with something that lights me up and helps me find my center. This is a shot from my last adventure into the Great Gulf Wilderness in the White Mountains. My recharge is in the wild nature of New England. We live in a beautiful place and I take advantage of it whenever I can. Breathe some fresh air, one foot in front of the other and keep grinding. Have an epic day!

Hey friends! Did you know that in 1939, there was a quirky proposal in Maine to make tomatoes in chowder illegal? Yep, you heard that right! Some folks believed that tomatoes had no place in traditional chowder recipes and wanted to ban them altogether. This sparked a lively debate across the state, with passionate arguments on both sides. Ultimately, the proposal didn't pass, and tomatoes remained a controversial but optional ingredient in Maine's chowder.

What's your choice?? I vote no tomatoes!!!
