Joshua Matthews started his career in real estate back in 2002 when the market was strong as an opportunity to help build his investment portfolio. He quickly realized he enjoyed the field over his current position as a manager for a local branch of a national retail chain store and made the switch to full time. Being a full time, full service agent for almost 20 years, growing his business year a
fter year in a declining market, Joshua found himself as a Director on the Strafford County Board of Directors in 2009 and sat on the Ethics Committee for Strafford County in 2010. At his previous office in Keller Williams, an agency of over 300 agents, he sat on the companies Agent Leadership Council, a board of directors of sorts, for six out of nine years and helped make decisions for the company’s direction and participated in many opportunities to teach on a variety of topics. While there, he won the Northeast Regional Icon Award, Capping awards 7 out of his 9 years there and the Martha Squires Award 6 consecutive years in a row. Having felt like he had taken his career as far as it would go with Keller Williams, Joshua moved to the Bean Group from 2015 through 2017, helping their real estate company focuss on developing their presence in Strafford & Belknap County. In July on 2017, Joshua returned to his original brokerage, Coldwell Banker. Having had the opportunity to experience both another major real estate company and a smaller boutique style company, he opted to go with the tools and internet presence that best serves his clients.
