Congratulations Kelyn on the purchase of your condo! Right from the beginning you've been so fun to work with and I've really loved getting to connect with you. I'm so excited for you to be moving on to this next chapter!

Not every deal is smooth as butter and while this one was pretty easy on our side, there were certainly some complications to overcome to get this one to closing. What about that makes me happy? We made it through most of the deal without Kelyn needing to stress about anything that was happening. What's even better is that nothing ever spilled over or became a problem she needed to overcome because the listing agent, Peter Morgan, was very professional and knew exactly what needed to be done to keep things moving along even when things got difficult for his clients. Not only did Kelyn have a great team, Porchlight Home Group at KW, working along side her, she was also fortunate enough to be purchasing a property with a great agent who worked alongside our team to make things happen. THAT is priceless in Real Estate.

I'm so grateful for deals like this ❤️

Sometimes Real Estate is all business and sometimes it's extremely personal. In the case of 516 Berry River Rd, it was personal. From the seller who was letting go of his and his late wife's home where they spent years with their family celebrating milestones, spending quality time together and building a life, to my client/buyer Ian who sees today as the culmination of about 14 years of hard work, perseverance and life experiences paving the way to finally having a place he can call his own. From the visceral reaction Ian had walking through this home for the first time at his showing where he also fell for the story about a stone on the property that had been painted by the homeowners' grandchildren, to today's final walkthrough where he returned to find that same stone had been painted for him by those same grandchildren on their final day with the home when they said "goodbye". Of course, I also can't forget to mention that when plans had to change and my 10mo old daughter had to attend the final walkthrough and closing with me today, the care that the listing agent, Joanne, had to sit and sing to her so she would be calm and happy while I tended to my client was priceless.

This was not at all a seamless process, and at one point there was a question as to whether or not we would be making it to closing. But it was clear from the start that this was more than a business transaction. This was a relationship building experience for us all, and one we will all remember for a long time.

Yay for surprise cake! Shout out to my team for being so thoughtful and wanting to take a moment with me to celebrate my really exciting achievement! I just had my 100th closing! 🥳 100 families finding their new home and starting a new chapter, or selling their last home before moving on to their next, with a sprinkle of land lots for future dreams and a dusting of investment properties for vacations and rental income.
