Everybody loves arguing about which tools are best, but most of the major brands are owned by just a handful of companies.

🔴 TTI (Techtronic Industries)

* Milwaukee
* Ryobi
* Hart
* Empire

🔵 Independent Brands

* Makita
* Bosch
* Hilti
* Festool
* Metabo HPT

And here’s the part that really gets people fired up:

🇺🇸 There is no major cordless power tool brand that’s completely “Made in the USA.”

Most brands source parts, batteries, motors, electronics, or complete tools from China, Mexico, Vietnam, Taiwan, Germany, Japan, or other countries. Some are assembled in the U.S., but none of the big names are 100% American-made from raw materials to finished product.

So before the Milwaukee guys start fighting the Ryobi guys, remember they’re owned by the same company. And before the DeWalt guys start talking trash about Craftsman, they’re helping fund the same parent company too. 😂

At the end of the day, you’re mostly choosing a battery platform and color scheme. 🔋🔧
