How It Started

I think everyone can agree that our lives are ever changing all the time and you never really know where you’re going to find yourself. Darlene Kacalek, came to Idaho because another family member had found this secret gem of an area and fell in love with it after growing tired of the crime and population rates of California in 1989. Darlene has the skills of an organizational lead

er, marketing manager, the heart of a true mamma bear and a passion to help people in need. She is patient, kind, loving, honest, master negotiator and one of the hardest workers I’ve ever known. Setting goals is her thing and nothing else makes her more happy than to help people reach theirs. Originally, she was in the performing arts industry but decided to move forward and try something different. She felt a strong calling to real estate to help people that are in need of information with the home buying process and the options that are available to them. Julia, (daughter) decided to follow in her footsteps because she loved the idea of making my own schedule, running errands and driving around, talking to new people and learning new things as I go. Her day is never the same and it’s great! After working for 4 years side by side, she now works at a different brokerage as a Licensed Office Manager but still helps with the bi-monthly classes. Plus, its a family affair! Tony (husband, dad) helps us out with new ideas, feedback and support. James (son, brother) Owner of Sky Construction, his knowledge of building homes in the area has been a great experience, as well. We are all very grateful for such amazing opportunities and we are so excited to see what the next year of 2022 is going to bring.

How it Started

My Mother, Darlene Kacalek, came to Idaho because another family member had found this secret gem of an area and fell in love with it after growing tired of the growing crime and population rates of California. I believe my parents came to Post Falls in 1989 (don’t quote me). I was very lucky in that my mother wanted my older brother and I to have stable and grounded childhood. So, our family has lived here for almost 30 years. It’s crazy to think about honestly.

Darlene has the skills of a organizational leader, marketing manager, the heart of a true mamma bear and a passion to help people in need. She is patient, kind, loving, honest, master negotiator and one of the hardest workers I’ve ever known. Setting goals is her thing and nothing else makes her more happy than to help people reach theirs.

Originally, she was in the performing arts industry but decided to move forward and try something different and felt a strong calling to real estate to help people that are in need of information with the home buying process and options that are available.

After watching my mother go through the motions of real estate when I was younger and now in my twenties. I felt drawn to do something similar and become an entrepreneur as well. I loved the idea of making my own schedule, running errands and driving around, talking to new people and learning new things as I go. I’m still in the process of getting my Bachelors Degree from LCSC in General Business as my personal back up plan for the future but I’ve been enjoying it so far. There’s so much to do that’s office related that it just makes my heart happy to be here and help people. My day is never the same and it’s great!
