Before Blanchard was a town, it was just a place people believed in enough to build a life around.

Back in 1883, two brothers made their way through North Idaho looking for opportunity, eventually settling in what became Spirit Valley. Life wasn’t easy, but the community that grew there was built on hard work, trust, and neighbors helping neighbors.

And honestly, that feeling is still here.

Places like the Blanchard Community Center still bring people together the way they always have. Wide open space, mountain views, and a slower pace that’s hard to find these days.

It’s one of those areas that reminds you what people love most about North Idaho.
