HIRING FOR A FULL-TIME RESEARCHER POSITION
HOURS: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm
JOB DUTIES (Included, but not limited to):
- Conduct research and gather information regarding title to real estate properties from county records (recorder of deeds, collector, assessor), state courts, and other databases
- Report research findings to provide information to the title production team
- Aid in maintaining order tracking
- Collaborate with team members to answer customer or underwriter questions
- Stay up to date with real estate laws and continued education for licensing
- Assist in the development and implementation of title commitments and policies
- Customer Service (inputting title search orders, answering customer questions via walk-ins, email, and phone calls)
- Filing and light cleaning of office area
- Driving to neighboring counties for out-of-county searches
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in using GIS (Geographic Information System) software for data analysis and mapping (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data while meeting deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must pass background check.
- Must pass an exam in order to obtain Title Insurance Producer License (at 90 days of employment, paid for by Company)
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- No experience necessary
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass drug test
- Must have Driver's License
- Ability to commute to Desloge, MO, if needed.
