Did you know you can walk from A-Frame of Mind to Lake Texoma? 🌊🥾

Our cabin backs directly to the Corps of Engineers land surrounding the lake, where you can step out and explore the 10+ acres of woods with trails right behind the house. It’s a 0.1 mile walk to overlook the lake. And then just around the corner, the neighborhood lake access and boat ramp give you an easy spot to launch the 2 kayaks we provide, fish, or set off on your boat to the lake’s islands which are directly outside our cove.

We put together this little map to give you a better idea of how everything connects. The footprints show the approximate hiking paths through the Corps land behind the cabin, while the lake access is just a short 0.3 mile walk or drive away.

“We loved our stay! The place was so cozy (but roomy) and cute. Loved the nature, hikes, backyard and lake. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The decor and cabin was so nice, every detail so cute and everything was labeled! The host was very helpful and super responsive.

You simply can’t beat the back deck and trees!!

The lake is amazing and this location is perfect if you’re taking your boat or seadoos out! Next to a boat ramp and straight out to the sand island which made us feel like we were in our own little world! Definitely put us in an A-Frame of Mind! Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!”

Everyone went back to school. We’re not complaining. 😎🌊 We think it’s the perfect time to book a stay with us to visit Lake Texoma and all it has to offer.

It still feels like summer with the warm temps, sunny days, and perfect water conditions—but there are a whole lot fewer people.

Weekdays and midday are especially hard to beat. Sometimes you really do feel like you have the lake to yourself.

This was the view at Island View Park… a full 180° with not a single person in sight. 👀 (Well, except my favorite fisherman if you look really closely. 😉)

If you’ve been thinking about a little lake escape, September is looking pretty good!! ☀️💦
