Our Volunteer Day at our South Street construction site and the South/Price Street clean-up that was scheduled for tomorrow, May 23rd, is going to be postponed due to impending rain. We will post the new dates soon on our website and page.

It's not too late to get a spot in this month's garden workshop - Backyard Ecosystems & Beneficial Insects Workshop: Cultivating Living Spaces.

Join Mosaic Community Land Trust for an evening under the sun as we welcome Penn State Master Gardener Sandi Yanisko to the Mosaic Community Garden. Discover the “tiny heroes” of your backyard. Sandi will guide us through the fascinating world of beneficial insects—the predators, pollinators, and decomposers that keep your garden thriving without the need for harsh chemicals. When you intentionally create an ecosystem in your backyard, you’ll learn how to invite nature back into your space.

The workshop will be held May 19th at 6:00 pm in our flagship garden at 423 Chestnut Street in Pottstown.

We want to extend a huge thank you to Kneehigh Farm for a generous donation of plants for our gardeners. It is amazing to have relationships with our local growers and farms.

Please take time to check out Kneehigh Farm and their corresponding farm shop, Red Dog Market. Support the local businesses that are supporting our community.

They get to give extra plants to us, with a good conscience that they won’t just be wasted, our gardeners get plants to fill their community garden plots.

We still have community garden plots available at 423 Chestnut St. and 615 Chestnut St. for anyone interested. Registration is on our website at mosaicclt.org.

A quick update that our Board President, Audra, recorded over the weekend from one of our current projects sites. The wind was doing its best to become a co-host, but please take a minute to hear what's happening and stay connected as we continue working to support permanently affordable housing, Community gardens and neighborhood investment in Pottstown.
