After purchasing a property, many individuals in Schuylkill County receive an official looking notice offering to provide a “Property Assessment Profile”.

These notices are confusing, especially to first-time homebuyers, who may miss the “fine print” on these solicitations, and mistakenly believe that they need to pay more money to receive the deed to their home.

There is no need to spend money to get a copy of your deed. You will receive your original recorded deed roughly 4 – 6 weeks after your closing.
