Strong is all about perspective.

To the world, I might seem strong, but for me, I was never given a choice. Surviving was the only option because I have little humans who depend on me and look up to me, and a husband who loves me and has stood by my side no matter what.

So when I lost my son, I grieved. I felt a pain I didn’t think I would be able to survive. At times, it literally felt like I was having a heart attack, and I had to rush to the ER. But I wiped my tears and picked myself up because, although my son is no longer with us, I still have a beautiful family who needs me here—fully present and fully alive.

So I chose to live. To live with grace. To carry my pain and my grief, and to pray for mercy, strength, and the courage to wake up every day with a grateful heart—with the certainty that all things shall pass.

My Lord, my God, has answered my prayers.

Such a special trip…

Very emotional for this mama bear since I left baby Nelson home, but also, glad we took this time to share it with Nadia❤️💖

Also, her first time on a plane🙏

Unfortunately, this mama is not a fan of flying😬
