We had some die-hard ladies show up for our Open House yesterday. We are so grateful to them and are even more grateful that everyone made it home safely! Jan and are going to offer another Open House in a few weeks so the folks who didn't venture out in the crazy weather can still get in on the good deals. I'll let you know when we pick the date.
Speaking of SNOW... the snow here is perfect for cleaning rugs. Don't forget to freshen yours up during these snowy conditions!

Hi Rug Hooking Friends! Jan and I have picked the next Open House date; Jan. 25th, 2014 from 9-5. Our patterns will be 20% off (plus we'll have NEW ones that you'll get to see before anyone else) and our wool quarters will be 10% discounted. So, ask for "hookin' money" for Christmas and join us for a day of food, fun and laughter! We'll have a pot of soup on the stove, drinks and sweet treats to share so bring your hooking and join us for the day!

I just took a break from working on my McGown Show and Tell article and listened to "Deanne Fitzpatrick and the Art of Rug Making" (for the umpteenth time) on Youtube. Her voice is so soothing along with the "thrumming" of her hooking...calms me almost into a stupor.

Thank you to everyone who came to our open house! Jan and I did a bit of color planning, designing, selling and lots of talking, laughing and making more good memories. Hookers are wonderful people!
