So the birthday season has started for our family this year! Katherine's birthday is the first and was always celebrated around the Delaware County Fair, which meant we sometimes ate pizza for her birthday right after we trimmed steers or sheared sheep. As I look back I think those were pretty special times of anticipation for the fair and the birthday became part of it. I believe that since then she hasn't stopped and today's celebration was no different: a flight in at 12 a.m. for a meeting today and a flight out at 7 p.m. with ice cream and a picture with mom and dad in between.
