New Tech, Who Dis?

๐Ÿ“ฃRemember that diet or exercise plan which you were so consistent with...well...until you weren't? Did you throw your hands up and feel like all of your progress was undone by missing a few days, weeks, or even months?

Guess what? It is never too late to start again (well...as long as you're breathing). In fact, you can actually condition yourself to enjoy starting over.

And guess what else? You will probably fail again. So start re-starting until you cherish your ability to take on new challenges. Besides, who doesn't love a comeback story, right? ๐Ÿ’ช

๐Ÿค” Do you remember the foreign feeling from the accelerator pedal or the brakes on your car when you first bought it?

How safe and at home did you feel the first few weeks or month in a new city?

What about now? Your car is YOURS...the city is too. These once-uncomfortable feelings have now been normalized.

These two are benign examples but have you considered which behaviors/routines in your life could be destructive if they were to become "part of your day?"

๐Ÿ˜ŽSince 2013 I have been using video marketing. Watching someone explain a message is categorically different than reading text of the same message.

Webinars have been the norm for many companies where valued employees are allowed to work remotely, but who still need to check in and attend meetings.

And now...we are all in need of a way to safely communicate often complex information in the safest way possible.

For those who have embraced technology like ZOOM, Google Hangouts, and SKYPE this is business as usual and it is likely said practitioners are flourishing. ๐Ÿ’ฒ๐Ÿ’ฒ๐Ÿ’ฒ

For many others it is imperative to catch up to this technology.

Want my vision of the next big change? Just ask me...maybe you can get ahead of the curve on it!

๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธTake the Pity Party...then move on๐Ÿ‘Œ

It is okay to feel depressed about a failure (loss of client, being out-negotiated, losing a multiple offer) but how resilient you are is directly related to your future success.

Take pity on yourself for a while but staying in that depressed state will guarantee a delay in recovering.

๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†Do YOU need a trophy or physical award as recognition? Do your CLIENTS?๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†

I would like to think most top salespeople are motivated intrinsically to achieve success but I think many of these same people love to "walk the stage" and receive recognition for their feats.

Is your "recognition cup" being filled just from the pride within or do you need a banner, an award, or a pat on the back to really feel validated?๐Ÿค”

And how about your clients? Could you do more to make them feel special in their lives and increase your referral opportunities?

๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†What does it take to be a "Hall of Fame" coach?๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†

What does it take to be a great leader in any organization?

Can great leaders succeed in any environment? I argue that they CAN and they DO.
