Fall has this reputation for being expensive, pumpkin patches and apple picking and seasonal everything, but the actual feeling of the season doesn't cost anything at all. It's in the light, the smell of the air, the excuse to slow down that the colder months seem to give us permission for. This list is built entirely around that, using what you already have to make the season feel special. Walk through a neighborhood full of leaves. Make hot chocolate at home. Watch the sunset with a warm drink instead of scrolling through it. Light the candles you already own instead of saving them for later.
None of it requires a budget, just a little intention and the willingness to actually notice the season while it's happening. What's your favorite free way to make fall feel special?
