In the spring of 2018, Corbin walked into an old Wild Turkey bourbon barrel warehouse in Kentucky and immediately saw more than aged wood he saw a piece of history that could live on in Corbin Ladner Custom Homes.

Believed to have been built nearly 100 years ago, the warehouse was constructed primarily from oak harvested from old-growth trees estimated to have been 150–200 years old. From demolition and preservation to preparing and installing each piece, friends and family helped bring Corbin’s vision to life.

Today, this true antique wood adds something you simply can’t recreate history, character, and craftsmanship to the homes we build. We’re proud to preserve its story and give our clients a piece of history to enjoy for generations.
