Since I had no mothers in Kansas today to have dinner with, I went fishing.
Always nice to have uncrowded lake with plenty of fish.

We are continuing to improve our apartments. Here are a few photos of our resent work.

We are installing an EPA EnergyStar approved cool roof.
Then using advance insulation and air sealing techniques. We continue to make our units more energy efficient reducing our tenants energy bills.
Our 96% efficient recirculating water heating system continues to provide instant hot water to the units conserving water.
We are also researching a rainfall collection system.
These items along with our previous improvement make our apartments more comfortable for our tenants while using less energy and water.

We are have 10 more units we are currently rehabilitating. We are painting and installing cabinets so they are getting close.

We had our first BBQ as a community. Under the shade of the large mature trees in our community courtyard.

Plenty of food with, Brisket, Pulled pork, Carnitas chuck roast, corn, baked beans, refried beans, coleslaw, sweet hawaiian rolls, tortillas, salsas, guacamole, desserts and drinks provided by management and side dishes by the tenants.

Good fellowship and food, while getting to know your neighbors.

A very enjoyable evening. We hope to do another one in the near future.
