I hear it all the time. "We need to save up 20% before we can even think about buying." And I get it because that's what most people grew up hearing. But for a lot of first time buyers in the Prescott Valley area that kind of thinking is the one thing standing between them and a home they could actually be in right now.

There is so much about the home buying process that looks more complicated and more out of reach than it actually is and that's exactly why I put this carousel together.

The truth is there are loan programs designed specifically for buyers who don't have a huge down payment saved up. There are ways to move through this process that don't take forever when you have the right person keeping things on track. And you are absolutely not expected to walk into this already knowing how any of it works. That's my job.
