Bring your own fishing gear or borrow one of ours (no charge, bring a photo ID). Park on 1st Street and catch the free shuttle to the park. Food trucks will be on site, with a variety of tasty treats for you to purchase. See you there!

Goldwater Lake is a beautiful place to have a picnic, go fishing, kayaking or paddle boarding. There are many picnic tables and ramadas, a playground, restrooms, fishing dock, etc. And it's only about 10 min south of town and has a super affordable entry fee.

Have you been to Gripstone Climbing Gym? If you want to learn to rock climb, or a place to practice new skills, check them out. They have about a dozen auto belays, of various difficulties, that make it easy to go without a partner, or more fun with a buddy because you can both climb at the same time. There is also a bouldering area that doesn't require ropes at all, a gym with standard fitness equipment, and several standard belay walls.
