It’s never too late to become the strongest version of yourself. ❤️🥊💪
This past week I added something back into my life that I haven’t done consistently since my 30s…boxing.
A few weeks ago, my friend Sharp Chen | AZ Home Warranty posted a boxing video, and I immediately thought, I miss that. I’d love to do it again.
The very next day, I was at TG The Gym Mesa Arizona when I saw a trainer walking out with punch pads. I ran to the front desk and asked, “Who is that trainer?” They connected me with , and the rest is history.
Even though I’d boxed years ago, Jordan has patiently taken me back through Boxing 101—footwork, punches, movement, everything. I’ve made plenty of simple mistakes 😂, but he never gets frustrated. His patience and encouragement have made learning fun again.
This is just another chapter in a much bigger journey.
Over the past couple of years, I’ve lost 50+ pounds, built muscle lifting four days a week, and now I’m boxing twice a week for cardio. I couldn’t have done it without my amazing strength coach, Toni Abdo | Virtual Nutritionist and Trainer. Thank you, Joanie DiMatteo-Godsey, for the intro.
Here’s what amazes me most: I’ll officially become a senior citizen in September, yet I feel healthier, stronger, and have more energy than I did in my 30s and 40s.
If you’re waiting for the “right time” to start, this is your sign. It’s never too late. You don’t have to be perfect—you just have to begin.
Maybe one day you’ll inspire someone the way Sharp Chen | AZ Home Warranty inspired me. ❤️🥊
