If you're wondering why I haven't posted in a while, this is why. August was an incredibly productive and rewarding month. Congratulations to 4 different buyers who purchased their dream home despite repeated disappointments and challenges in this uber-competitive market. We stuck together and persevered and they are all now owners of these beautiful homes! I'm incredibly lucky to do what I love and to have such great clients. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

A really good update on the national housing market. AZ has some of the hottest housing markets in the country so our appreciation rates are even higher than what's in this article, but even here we're starting to see small increases in inventory and less intense competition. Some buyers who've been repeatedly outbid and are frustrated at the lack of inventory are now sitting on the sidelines waiting to jump back at a later date. So even though the market is showing signs of cooling, the buyer pool is deep enough to keep the housing market strong for the foreseeable future. I don't expect it to become a buyer's market any time soon, but any move in that direction will be welcome news to many buyers out there!

The housing market may be softening just a touch. The rate of price growth is beginning to slow, and fewer buyers are seeking mortgages to purchase homes.

Don't you just love Spring in Prescott? Roses are in bloom all over town. These happen to be in my front yard. I've never grown roses before but the climate here is so perfect for them it would be a shame not to.

Taking time to appreciate a beautiful day by taking a hike around the lake and through the Prescott National Forest with my dog Shelby and my friend Tracy. 🏞

And then capped it off with a gorgeous sunset at home. 🌅

This is just one of many reasons why I love living in Prescott. 💜
