Seeing the latest Samson Properties stats and finding myself ranked #2 and #6 this week out of 6,500+ Agents in this company is incredibly HUMBLING...
but more than anything, it makes me stop and think about the people behind those numbers🙌🏼

Every number represents a family, a move, a new beginning, a hard decision, a military relocation, the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another.. and the fact that so much of my business continues to come from referrals makes it mean even more💛 The rankings are exciting, but the trust behind them is what I’m most proud of!

They did it! 🎉 And this one definitely wasn’t a straight road to the closing table.

Sometimes we see the “SOLD” post but don’t hear the story behind it… and this one had quite the story. 💛

We listed Bach and Jackie’s beautiful home, filled with years of memories and family gatherings, and quickly went under contract—with a home-sale contingency on a home that wasn’t even listed yet!

After speaking with the agent handling their buyers’ sale, I felt confident we had a great group willing to communicate and work together. Their home hit the market and quickly received multiple offers! 🙌🏻

Then came a low VA appraisal and Tidewater. We had a limited timeframe to provide additional comparables to support the contract price. With an incredible buyer’s agent on the other side, we worked together, submitted the supporting information, and the value was reconsidered and increased to support our contract price🙌🏼🎉

Meanwhile, Bach and Jackie found their next home—one that offered so much of what they were looking for. We submitted an offer with TWO home-sale contingencies… and the sellers accepted!

Then the inspection uncovered a failing septic. Another hurdle, more coordination, and another wonderful agent on the other side willing to work together toward a solution.

After all the contingencies, appraisal challenges, inspections, septic issues, and behind-the-scenes conversations… they made it! 🏡💛

Congratulations, Du Family! I’m so thankful for your trust and patience throughout this process. Seeing you already making your new Chesapeake Beach home your own makes every hurdle worth it!!
