2026 has been the year of some pretty cool stories and closings. My great friends of the last 10+ years sold their home they had outgrown in July and went to settlement last week on their beautiful new home that is just right for their family! The best part is they are now my neighbors.

They are two of the strongest people I know and have endured so much over the past couple of years. To see them this excited about this house that had room for everyone and checked all their boxes was more than I could have hoped for. Getting them right down the street from me was just the bonus! Thank you Zanna Clayton at Eagle Title and Tim Sisson for making sure everything went smoothly and worked out for them.

Three different sold stories for June and July and all three families are super special to me.

When you leave the showing and your buyers look you dead in the eyes and say “We don’t care what we have to do, we need you to get us this house.” Ok no pressure 😬😬😬

There were 7 incredible offers, but these buyers were truly ready to do whatever I suggested to get this special property under contract and we were able to do just that!

Part of their winning offer was allowing the sellers stay in their home until the end of the school year, but in just a few weeks, they’ll be enjoying that beautiful backyard oasis all summer.

The story of this double closing day is a good one! These two had a great home for sale that had been sitting on the market for a while largely because of the location. They were patient, we pivoted when we needed to and waited for the right buyer. On the day we saw their absolute dream home, their home got an offer in and then another the following day. They were anxious, as it looked like at first, the sellers weren’t going to accept a contingent offer over another non-contingent offer they received on their dream home. We adjusted a few of the terms to try to offset the home sale contingency, but pretty much chalked it up to a loss, until the listing agent called me that night to let me know the sellers were going to accept their offer. 🎉🎉🎉 The stars truly aligned. It called for some creativity and outside the box thinking from the agents on all sides at times, but to see them buy their dream home today made all the work over the past year so worth it ❤️
