October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 💗

This past weekend, we headed down to Iowa State for the football game against West Virginia! ❤️💛 We got to spend some time with our daughter, who is a sophomore at ISU, and experience a little bit of college life with her. We went golfing, checked out the Yell Like Hell performance (what a weird tradition 😂), and tailgated throughout the day on Saturday.

It was such a fun weekend getting to spend time with our whole family and see a little more of what Iowa State has to offer. So thankful for the memories and time together! ❤️💛🏈⛳️🌪️

10 years ago today, my life looked very different. ❤️

For 18 years, I worked as an audiologist, a career I truly loved. But on October 3, 2016, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and life took an unexpected turn.

As I navigated treatment and everything that came with it, I eventually had to step away from my career in audiology. At the time, I never could have imagined where that change would lead me.

That unexpected chapter opened the door to something completely new: real estate. 🏡

Now, 9 years into my career as a realtor, I can honestly say I'm so grateful for the path I was given. I love getting to know my clients, helping them through big decisions, and being part of such an exciting and important chapter in their lives.

Looking back, I never would have chosen the circumstances that brought me here, but I’m incredibly thankful for where they led me.

10 years later, I’m still here, still learning, still growing, and so excited to see what the next 10 years bring. ❤️
