30 days to change bad habits and create new positive change. Staci and I have started this little 30 day challenge after reading Dean Graziosi's most recent book, "Millionaire Success Habits". There are many books on self-improvement and creating new productive habits, but this one focused quite a bit more on remaining positive. Check it out if you want to join us and get a free copy of the book.
Plus, I would really like the Tesla!

I am on the way to living "The Better Life" by taking this 30 day challenge. I invite everyone else to join with me and see who can get the most life changing results!

I’m wondering if anyone is a member of this book club or had any additional recommendations for inspirational reading.

This little article on mindset is a nice reminder of the changes many small business owners go through. It's been less than a year since starting a business and I'm still adjusting. Number 3 especially.

As one prominent author wrote, "Entrepreneurs don't finish when we are tired. We finish when we are done."

Moving forward and adapting to change.
If you’ve ever gone through a major life-change, which I can guess every one of us has experienced, you realize the levels of stress and apprehension this change can cause.
It can cause stress on many levels that affect your family, mental stability, physical state and many other aspects of your life. This added stress only complicates the new beginning and the process of moving forward. Just think about the last time you ended a relationship, lost a loved one, changed careers (voluntarily or involuntarily), made a major move, lost credibility or respect of your peers, etc. It could also be a combination of a few of these events. It can be a range of any major life events. We also all process and react to the events differently.
After a few simultaneous major life changes and attempting to process these events, a colleague, J.D. Esajian, reminded me of a great way to bring things into perspective. He used the analogy of sitting in or more appropriately driving your car, because life is never sitting still.
Have you ever noticed that the front windshield in all cars is huge compared to the very small rearview mirror?
The past is, and will always there, in your line of vision, reminding you of previous experiences. It is behind you now, but it can be a major distraction. If you only pay attention to this reflection, you will most likely have a wreck in your near future.
Rather, you should keep it there, but only in your peripheral vision. Just peek back occasionally as a reminder of what is behind you, what you have passed and what you have experienced. It should be used to learn what you do not want to repeat and the experiences that have also allowed you to keep moving forward.
The future is ahead. Look through the wide open front windshield. Granted you may not know what hills, twists and turns or other obstacles may lie ahead. You are driving forward, not backward and you have more strength and ability than you may know, to steer where you want to go.
Keep that past reflection in view as a learning tool, but move forward toward the future and proceed.

Thank you all for liking this page for our newest venture.
As most of you know, I completed my Ph.D at the beginning of this year, and I have since had so much more free time to pursue whatl I've been dreaming of for years.

As a residential redeveloper, I am not a real estate agent and I don't list houses on the MLS, rather my goal is to coordinate with many agents, brokers, title experts, investors, lenders, and many other experts in the field of real estate in an effort to help home owners in our community.

If you know of any home owners or properties that might need my assistance, please keep me in mind and please share my information with them.

Our mission is to rejuvenate neighborhoods and increase the standard of living by improving the overall quality of housing for the residents.
