What is happening with the real estate market and interest rates?? I’m asked this question every day! This past week saw lots of economic news, not the least of which is that 30-year mortgage rates are down to the mid 6% range. Many experts are projecting them to get closer to 5% by year’s end! Guess what that will mean- sellers who have been waiting to sell who didn’t want to exchange their low interest rate for a high one will be selling and buyers who have been sitting on the sidelines waiting to buy will be back!
