👋 Realtors… genuine question for you.

When we have listings, our sellers want feedback after showings. They want to know what buyers thought, what stood out, what didn’t, and if there’s something they need to adjust.

So why is it that so often, as buyer’s agents, we don’t take the time to give feedback to the listing agent?

We’ve all been on both sides of the transaction. When it’s our listing, we want to be able to go back to our seller with something helpful.
👉 Maybe the buyer loved the layout but didn’t like the price.
👉 Maybe they noticed something in the home that needs attention.
👉 Maybe they ruled it out for a specific reason the seller desperately needs to hear.
👉 Or maybe the feedback just confirms we are exactly on the right track.

The thing is, it's never been easier to do. Supra has a feedback option built right in. Other showing systems do too. And honestly? A quick text to the listing agent takes 30 seconds and is infinitely better than silence.

But even when the listing agent goes out of their way to reach out by text or phone call… sometimes it’s still crickets. 🦗

This isn’t about being critical. It’s about being professional, helpful, and respectful of each other’s time and the clients we serve.

What you don't always see are the ones I couldn't help, despite trying every strategy in the book and marketing the hell out of their property.

I treat my clients like family, and I treat their goals the way I’d want mine treated. I’m a straight-shooter—I don't sugarcoat things, and I know that approach isn't for everyone. But it still truly hurts when a working relationship comes to an end and I wasn't able to get them to the finish line. As a business owner, the hardest lesson is acknowledging when I've done everything I possibly could, and knowing when it's time to let go.

Behind the highlight reel, there are literal tears and sweat. There is scrubbing floors on my hands and knees, painting walls, cleaning carpets, and spending my own money without any coming back in. There’s intense negotiating, advocating, late-night offer writing, drafting endless amendments, ripping my hair out, and so much more.

Remember, people are going through so much more than what you see on a screen. Be kind to each other today. You never know what someone else is going through behind the scenes. 🤍
