WSU Columbia Village

WSU Columbia Village WSU Columbia Village is a single-student apartment complex managed by Washington State University. Each apartment has its own patio or deck.

Columbia Village was built in the mid 70's and there are fifty-four two bedroom apartments in this complex. The apartments are either flats - all the living areas on one floor, or townhouses where the bedrooms and bathroom are located upstairs. All apartments have wall to wall carpeting except in the kitchen, bathroom and entry hallway. Located on each patio/deck is a lockable storage closet. Ther

e is a coin operated laundry located in the middle of the complex. The university provides cable TV, Internet, water, sewer and garbage. All other utilities are the responsibility of the residents. Columbia Village is located on the south side of campus and is approximately a 10-minute walk to the center of campus. To provide students on the south side of campus with more convenient fitness options, University Recreation has partnered with Housing & Residence Life to create the Down Under Recreation Center in the Stephenson Complex. Approximately 3,800 square feet will be dedicated to weight lifting and cardio equipment. The new fitness center will also include two multipurpose group fitness and training rooms. These rooms will also be used for Residence Life programming and events. Opening for the start of fall semester 2015, the fitness center will be accessible by CougarCard to students who pay the Student Recreation Center mandatory fee, or by elected membership.
