I got to refer dear friends of mine to another dear friend. I have worked with and for the always lovely in a couple different capacities, and it is always a joy bc in every job that must be done, there is an element of fun. We find the fun, & SNAP—the job’s a game!! If you know Karen or me you caught the relevance of that 😉🏰🤓

We were able to help my dear friends (& now Karen’s dear friends too, by the power of real estate 😉) Nancy & Ken get their home sold so they could go seek out their next chapter in Virginia.

story time:

Before my current role, I served in the Air Force for 20 years. It was an honor & privilege to serve, but there were some hard days. The further I went in my career, the higher the stakes, the greater the responsibility, & ultimately, the higher the stress level sometimes. Perks of being in positions of leadership, right?

About 14 years in, I learned of a book called by . It was an eye-opener in the sense that I learned if we choose to view even the most adverse situations positively, it can help affect the outcome in a profound way. One piece of that involved positive self-talk, or affirmations, spoken aloud.

Between my Air Force career and current role as a referral agent, I was a Transaction Coordinator for the . My team leader challenged us in our weekly meetings to have a positive mindset & create affirmations to speak to ourselves. These are mine for the week. What are yours? I’d love to know! Too timely!!! My lovely boss was JUST talking about this in our team meeting this morning, which is why I HAD to yell out the door to her as she headed out to a listing appointment, “I ❤️ U! Make good choices! Positive mindset!” 🤪😆 I know it was probably a goofy thing to do but hopefully she knows it means the positive impact she has on me & how she helps me grow are just a few of the many reasons why I really do love & appreciate her. I ❤️ being on this 🥰

story time:

As a Transaction Coordinator, I have two offices—one in beautiful Punta Gorda, & one in my lovely home. I’ve been searching for a perfect printer stand for some time. A good friend gifted me a brand new printer that I’m picking up today. While on date night last night (part of my vision board includes weekly date nights👩‍❤️‍👨), we stopped in at Marshall’s & found this lil beaut.

The tag said $49.99 but there was a scuff on the top of the stand that took a bit of the finish off. The staff so graciously took $10 off the cost of the stand for me! 💸 🛍

We brought it home & set it up. Not only does it also provide storage for my shredder BUT it solves the issue of my outlet being a little far away for plugging in my laptop charger, AND, added bonus, it has USB PORTS built into it as well!

I’m thrilled about this purchase bc it allows me to further & better continue serving my agents & MOST IMPORTANTLY our customers in a more efficient (& dare I say kinda nifty/cute 😍) setting. Hopefully this little stand will help me serve you or someone you may know in reaching a real estate goal of buying or selling a home. ❤️🏡
