I thought it was "projection" which is a psychologial construct. Never knew it was a Marx truism.

The other concept of modern politics is the big lie:

Year over year increase in per foot sell price in my neighborhood is 17% Are we seeing a bubble? No. Prices are up because of a lack of inventory and not an artificial demand. The supply of homes to buy or inventory is less than one month in my area and the number of homes sold is not at any historical high. A balanced market is 6 months inventory. Inventory is how many months it would take to sell every home on the market at this point in time if no new homes came on the market. Pricing and negotiating advantage is with the seller when below 6 months and with the buyer when more than six months. At less than one month, sellers are pretty much in the drivers seat. This situation is pretty much nationwide but at a lower demand on average. Demand here is high because of a limited supply of homes due to being a waterfront community. Every canal and marina that will ever be built is already built due to environmental restrictions IMHO. Therefore a limited and finite supply.

Housing Forecast for the remaining year.
