"The Real Estate Whisperer" was the name of my first blog; which got its name from the first post "Can You Hear The Whispers" and was about changing market conditions. People started calling ME the Real Estate Whisperer because of it, and that's how it caught on. A wife, mother and long time community member here in Dulles/Northern Virginia, I am also a full time REALTOR with Fieldstone Real Estate. Gated community? Forget about it. That barely slows me down.

You live in a condo? All I have to do is tell them that the key I have isn’t working and the front desk will give me the key they have to let me in.

It’s a little frightening what confidence and a business card will do.

So a funny thing happened today...
I was doing a home inspection with my buyer. The buyer's grandson stopped by. He works for the power company and I thought it was because he was working in the area and thought he'd swing by. But no! It turns out, he was dispatched to that location to shut off the power for non payment. He didn't even know his grandmother had found a house, and he certainly didn't know where it was or when the home inspection was scheduled. LOL
