Data is coming in from the start of the spring selling market. Inventory is up, but it’s still a seller’s market … if the price is right. Now that we are in the thick of the spring market, let’s look at which sellers are succeeding and which are still waiting for their buyers. And if …

Last week, I took some time off to rest and recharge with my husband, exploring the beautiful hills and valleys around Sacramento. ☀️ We hiked scenic trails, soaked up the sunshine, and I finished my current book - perfect moments of relaxation!

But no matter how great the adventure, there’s nothing like coming home. 🏡 It’s a reminder of why I love helping others find a place they truly love—a home that welcomes, restores, and feels just right!

“In the ancient city of Rome, there lived a humble and gentle man. His clothes were not as fine as the nobleman’s, and his leather sandals were worn thin. The man’s friends and neighbors called him Valentine.”

Each year, as February arrives, I’m reminded of the tradition of reading Saint Valentine, by Robert Sabuda, to my children—a story of kindness, faith, and quiet acts of love. It’s a tale that speaks not just of romance but of the deeper meaning of home, community, and the connections we build with those around us.

In real estate, we often talk about square footage, market trends, and home values. But at the heart of it all, a home is more than a structure—it’s a place where love is shared, memories are made, and traditions, like reading a beloved book, take root.

This month, as we celebrate Valentine’s Day, let’s focus on the spaces that bring us together, the neighborhoods that shape our stories, and the small acts of care that make a house feel like home. ~ Becky
