❄️If you live in North Carolina, you already know—winter weather likes to keep us guessing. With predictions bouncing between ☔rain, 🧊ice, and ❄️snow this weekend, now’s the time to prep just in case.

Whether you’re selling, renting, or staying cozy right where you are, a few simple steps can save a lot of stress later.

✅Quick prep before the weather decides who it wants to be:
• Charge you phone battery
• Have batteries for flashlights
• Warm your home before the storm arrives (this is not the time to be conservative)
• Check gas levels for your grill
• Bring in plants, hoses, and porch décor
• Drip faucets if temps dip
• Clear walkways (future you will be grateful)
• Ensure you have ample food (your neighbor may need a snack😉)

A little preparation now = peace of mind later.
And yes… we’ll all check the forecast again in an hour. 😉

In all seriousness a unpredictable storm is no joke and you should prepare ahead of time!!💯 It is always better to say later that you did not need to prepare, as opposed to finding out you were underprepared.

Please join us in praying for those impacted in Texas by the flood.

Please join us in praying for the people of Central Texas, where catastrophic flooding has caused heartbreaking devastation.

Early yesterday morning, intense rain began falling—measuring up to 12 inches per hour. The resulting floodwaters swept through Kerr County and the San Angelo area, destroying homes, taking lives, and leaving many still missing.

Search and rescue teams are working tirelessly in the midst of dangerous conditions. We ask you to pray for grieving families, for those still unaccounted for, and for the safety of first responders risking everything to help.

May God bring peace, comfort, and protection to all who are suffering.
