We have a significant storm coming through, possibly over 18". This post is for our customers on our route for the most part. Please move your vehicles out of the way for us to clear your property, move trash cans and anything else in the way. Shoveling and snowblowing to other things like propane tanks and oil fills will be done after we finish our plowing routes. This will be a long clean up for the entire state. Please as always reach out if you have an emergency but dont reach out "out of curiosoty" as to when we will get there, its distracting during an already stressful time. We have all the trucks up and going and the routes will be done as quickly and efficiently as possible. Bear with us, we will be there. The roads will be bad well into tuesday for sure. Stay home if at all possible. Stay safe and stay warm.

Its here, what should be the biggest storm in 10 years or so. I wanted to touch base with everyone on our plow routes and say that some of you with steeper driveways will probably be done at least once during the storm. We will be out keeping our commercial accounts open as well as we can. Everyone will be opened up and cleaned up after the storm is done. This is going to be a longer duration storm, potentially into tomorrow, so be patient, we will be there for everyone. Stay home? Stay safe and stay warm.

Alright, so it looks like we might finally have a snow storm worth mentioning. One like we had as kids. That being said, this is our plan for it. We will be going out and opening some driveways more than once, some more than twice to be able to keep everything manageable, our commercial accounts require attention DURING the storm and must also be kept open. We will be coming out and opening our residential accounts when the storm is done or nearly done for final clean up. Please have trash cans, vehicles and any other loose items moved out of the way for snow clearing.
It will be a longer duration storm it seems with some higher than usual snowfall rates at times. Everyone should plan on being home and staying off the roads as they will not be able to keep them absolutely clear either and the temperature will be very cold, so travel will be dangerous. If anyone needs anything during the storm, please reach out and we will do our best to help you out. Stay safe and stay warm.

With the weather developing more and more possible snow accumulation for tonight into tomorrow morning, we will be watching the storm closely and going out as needed. Hoping everyone stays safe out there, it sounds like there have been a bunch of accidents

Several big pine trees in Thompson to end the week, we will be back after this weekends' storm to finish up. Just because a tree doesnt look completely dead doesnt mean it isn't in bad shape this whole base was rotten in the middle. This was a very large pine right on the side of RT 12.

Yet another storm tree from the thunderstorms this week that we got take care of for a great return customer in Woodstock this week. The damage to the house was actually fairly limited, thankfully.

It seems to be a Sunday afternoon trend of trees down on cars and houses lately. We went out this afternoon and removed the tree from the car so the car could be towed away, and we will be back out tomorrow for the rest of the debris. Sometime soon, the rest of that tree will need to be removed as well. It doesn't have to be an active storm for trees and limbs to come down, so keep an eye on the trees around your property.
