🍁 We are a couple of days in, but I can’t resist sending out a Happy September to all of my fall peeps! I feel like we’re unfurling and the good times are upon us!

Being a Realtor really doesn’t automatically mean touring mega mansions and perfectly presented, dollhouse-like abodes. It’s more often touring unique, real-life properties with quirks.

Sometimes those “quirks” are a nice way of addressing something genuinely heinous 😂 and sometimes, they’re wonderfully whimsical.

This evening was the latter.

The light was just right, everything was a little overgrown and wild, and I found myself wandering through a property taking photos and enjoying the stillness of nature while my buyers explored.

There are plenty of decidedly unglamorous parts of this job, but I love that it takes me down roads I’d otherwise never travel, into homes I’d never see, and every once in a while, into a little pocket of the world that feels a little enchanted. ✨🌿

🏡 That house has been sitting on the market for a while... so what’s wrong with it?

It’s an easy assumption to make when you’re scrolling through listings, but longer market time doesn’t necessarily mean a home should be crossed off your list.

Sometimes it’s price. Sometimes it’s timing, presentation, or simply a smaller pool of buyers. And sometimes, a home that’s been overlooked may be worth a second look.
