🏡📰 Local Market Update

Here’s a snapshot of what’s going on in our Puyallup real estate market compared to Pierce County as a whole. Our local market continues to outperform the county and is currently strongly seller favored with a chance of selling at 162%. Keep in mind, we consider 50-55% a balanced market. This second steady week is directly correlated to the return of multiple offers and much higher buyer traffic through new listings.

The county graph shows a little more detail of demand at various price points. Around and below the Pierce County median price of $535,000 we sit in a strongly seller favored market. We trend towards a balanced market slowly as price point increases, but doesn’t quite get there until $1,000,000 and above.

Buyers getting ready to enter the market should expect increased competition. This will only increase as positive news comes out regarding potential fed rate cuts and decreases in mortgage rates.
