PLEASE — waste my time. 😉

One of the things I hear most often from clients is:

“I don’t want to waste your time.”

And I’m here to lovingly tell you… you are not.

My job is to show you houses so you can figure out what you actually like, what you don’t like, what matters to you, and what absolutely does not.

My job is also answering the random questions, recommending contractors, talking through repairs, helping you understand the market, and being a resource long before you are ready to buy or sell.

So much of real estate is front-loaded. People feel bad about that, but I got into this business knowing exactly how it works. I don’t get paid until a transaction closes, but it is truly my pleasure to help you figure out what is best for you — even if that doesn’t end in a sale.

You don’t know what you don’t know.

And a big part of my job is helping you navigate that.

So send me the house. Ask the question. Wonder out loud. Be curious.

You are not wasting my time.

It’s literally my job. 🏡

➡️ Warning-long personal post here ⬇️

I’ve debated sharing this, but if it helps even one woman feel less alone or push for better answers, it’s worth it.

For years, I have suffered with horrible periods and cramping. About five years ago, I saw a specialist who I truly thought was an angel. He recommended an ablation, and at the time, I thought it was amazing… until it wasn’t.

About eight months ago, I started having cramping again, which was unusual. I made an appointment with my regular doctor, had an ultrasound, was given medication, and my bloodwork came back normal. The ultrasound looked “normal” too. But every month, the pain kept getting worse.

It got to the point where I was exhausted and in pain most days. I couldn’t fully do my job, be present for my family, or feel like myself. I started doing my own research because what I was getting from my doctor just wasn’t helping.

Then, somehow, I was referred to Dr. Annika Malmberg — who truly is an angel.

I had my first appointment with her on May 7. She listened intently, validated my pain immediately, and finally gave me a word for what I had been experiencing: adenomyosis.

I’ve been seeing doctors for almost 10 years about this pain, and not one had ever mentioned that to me.

She also told me she doesn’t love ablations because they can cover up the real problem and, in many cases, make things worse. Which hit me hard… because I had been telling everyone who would listen to get one.

She said she would squeeze me in for a hysterectomy as soon as she could. I just didn’t realize how soon. One week later, on May 15, I was in the operating room.

I’m now home recovering and being doted on by my wonderful husband, kids, family, and friends. I am so incredibly grateful and so looking forward to finally feeling better. My only regret is that I didn’t find her sooner.

Please, please, please — if you are having pain, see a specialist. Not just your regular doctor. And get a second opinion if something still doesn’t feel right.

I feel like this last year I lost myself in fatigue and pain, and I am so excited to feel normal again.

Thank you, Dr. Annika Malmberg ❤️❤️❤️

My little plant-loving heart is SO happy. 🪴💚

After 25 years in this home and this neighborhood, I’ve realized one of my favorite things is finding simple ways to connect with the people around me. And since I love plants almost as much as I love this community… I decided to start a little Plant Station on my porch!

Neighbors, friends, clients, plant people, plant-curious people, and “I swear I kill everything” people — this is for you.

Come grab a plant for yourself or take one to give as a gift. Some are already potted, some are ready to be repotted, and I even have little bags of soil available to help you get started.

Take a plant or two, leave some for others, and feel free to add to the station if you have cuttings, containers, or plant babies to share.

Because plants are life… and so are good neighbors. 🌱

Questions about plants or houses? You know where to find me. 😉

☀️ Summertime came early ☀️

What a fabulous weekend! Sunshine, swimming, family and plenty of sunshine.

If this is a preview of the summer to come, I'll take it!

Spencer Lake Fishing Derby 2026 🎣

Best. Day. Ever.

We may not have caught a ton of fish, but we absolutely caught the best kind of memories — a day full of friends, family, raffle prizes, April lake swims, s’mores, and a whole lot of laughter.

There is just something so special about this Spencer Lake community. Days like this are such a sweet reminder of why we love it here so much.

Already looking forward to next year! 💛

❄️ Snow Day ❄️

Snow is so much superior to rain, but it can come at a cost! Take it easy on the roads and don't forget to check your yard. This heavy snow can hurt your fragile shrubs, give em a little shake to relieve the weight. I also hope none of you fell for "false spring" and planted flowers😔

For now I'm enjoying the view with a glass of wine 🥂 Cheers!

Capped Again — and this one hits different. 💛🏡

I officially capped at Windermere, which means I’ve met my Windermere fees for the year and from here on out I’ll retain 100% of my commission. 🙌

This is my 5th year in real estate, and I capped my first two years (when the market was absolutely bonkers 😅). A huge part of that was my mentor , I’m forever grateful for her guidance and steady support.

Then came the next two years… and whew. They were pretty darn hard — in life and in business. Even though I still did more transactions than 70% of my peers, I just couldn’t quite get to that finish line.

But this year? I did it. 🎉
And after everything it took to get here, it feels SO good.

Most importantly: I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with incredible clients and amazing referring agents who trusted me with the people they care about. That’s the heartbeat of my business.

Referrals are EVERYTHING to me.
So please don’t keep my name a secret 😉
I’m never too busy for your referrals — and I’ll take amazing care of them.

If you know someone thinking about buying, selling, or just curious what their home might be worth, send them my way. I’ve got them. 🤍

That “other side” review hit me right in the feels 🥹✨

I’m always grateful for kind words from my clients… but when the agent on the other side takes the time to leave a review, it feels extra special—because they saw the behind-the-scenes: the late-night details, the constant communication, the problem-solving, and the teamwork it takes to get to the finish line.

Thank you, Debbie, for such a thoughtful note. And thank you to everyone who trusts me to be organized, responsive, and fully in it with you—every step of the way. 🤍🏡

If you’re thinking about buying or selling this year (even if it’s just “maybe”), I’m always happy to be a resource!

The kind of “meant to be” home that makes you hold your breath. 🏔️🍼✈️

I had the honor of helping the Lintons—a sweet young couple with a newborn (and both pilots!)—find their dream home, thanks to a referral from an agent in my office. 🤍

They weren’t planning to move. They’d only bought their home a couple years ago…until THE ONE came on the market: a spectacular view of Mt. Rainier that stopped us in our tracks.

We wrote an offer… and couldn’t come to terms on price.
A week later, they couldn’t let it go (because how could you?!), so we went back in with another offer—and it was accepted. 🙌

And then the real work began ⬇️

This transaction was filled with turbulence:

✨ A fierce inspection negotiation

✨ An expired contingency period that made it feel like
the dream was dead

✨ More calls, more strategy, more persistence than I can
count

But I couldn’t let it go—because it was their dream home.

After many conversations with the listing agent, I finally uncovered the true sticking point for the sellers. I rewrote the contract, we pivoted, and… they accepted. Dream home back on! 🎉

We were all holding our breath until we got the call and heard the words every buyer waits for:

CLOSED AND RECORDED. 🗝️✨

So happy for the Lintons—and so grateful they trusted me to stay the course and get them across the finish line. 🏁
