A Bit About Me and My Why
I am a Realtor...and a wife, mom, & educator. Teaching is my passion, in any capacity. I taught elementary age children in grades, 1-6 and special education, for 20 years in Federal Way and Bethel school districts. With family in the real estate industry, I am no stranger to property and land deals, however, I made the choice to become a licensed Realtor and practice full time when my mom was diagnosed with brain cancer.
As a substitute teacher, I still get my kid fix when I can. Slinging houses is my focus, though, and I absolutely love it! The flexibility of this profession is what gave me the opportunity to spend the last 9 months of my mom’s life making sure she was happy and comfortable. My business was put on pause as I made sure that my family was being taken care of physically and emotionally. As difficult as that was, it is exactly what needed to be done. And, honestly, I was ok spending time away from my teen and pre-teen boys!
November 7th, 2018 was the day my mom became and angel. Since then, and as we prepared for her departure, I have been able to focus on real estate. One fabulous thing about his job is that I still get to educate! This time, it’s just grown-ups. I love to teach clients about the market and the home buying/selling process. I’m a social butterfly so meeting new people, creating lasting relationships with clients, lenders, other agents, and vendors is just up my alley!
I look forward to what 2019 will bring for me, my career, and my family as I get to help new clients and families find new homes and make new memories. How can I help you?
